Sundays at Lakeside
LCC offers two different opportunities for worship on the typical Sunday morning. Both services meet in the worship center and include singing, a Bible message from the pastor, and a time of remembering Jesus’ sacrifice by the sharing of communion bread and juice for those who wish to partake.
Our goal for each service is to provide a place for members and guests to come into God’s presence, hear Him speak to us through His word, experience His love, forgiveness, and healing, and to open our hearts to Him in worship and praise. We believe God desires these times even more than we do, and that every worship service has the potential to be a powerful and life-changing experience.
- Our first service starts at 9:00am and ends at 10:00am. We call it our “Classic” service because the music style incorporates more traditional songs, with piano and keyboard accompaniment, and a more formal worship style.
- Our second service begins at 10:45am and ends at noon. We call it our “Contemporary” service because it incorporates a more current music style and instrumentation, with a more informal format.
Both services feature the same message and have the same warm hospitality. Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home and participate however they are comfortable. Although there is an offering collected at each service for members to support the needs of the church, we want our visitors to know they are our guests, and not expected to participate in the offering.
There are also various groups for children that meet during both services , as well as groups for Middle and High School students that meet at 9:00.
Adults who want to stay for both hours can attend one of the Small Group Bible Studies meet during both worship times.
